CASCAID Olympics
The day dawned fair and the rain held off for the inaugural CASCAID Olympics, held at the Millennium Arena in Battersea Park on 15th May. 25 teams took part in a wide range of races and events: 100m sprint, relay, sack race, wheelbarrow race, long jump, netball shootout, press up challenge, plank challenge, crossbar challenge and tug-of-war. Competition was rife, the efforts herculean (an 8-minute plank was particularly impressive!!). Thanks go out to M&G Investment and Aviva Investors, as well as all our volunteer marshals and enthusiastic announcer, without any of whom the day wouldn’t have gone so smoothly. Congratulation to the overall winning team which was WTW All Star HIIT Squad from Willis Towers Watson.
