Anne-Marie rows from Wales to Ireland

Anne-Marie McConnon, Marketing Director of BNY Mellon and Ambassador for CASCAID, took on one of our most daring challenges. She put together a team and set out to row the Irish Sea from Holyhead in Wales to Dublin, Ireland. She’s not a rower, she’s never rowed on open water before and on the odd occasion she’s sat on a rowing machine, she’s hated it.

She learnt to row, got herself fit (after just having her second child) and then hit the high seas.They made it and there was a big pint of Guinness waiting at the end.
